ONE Campaign

I ran across this site recently. Basically, what they advocate is that if the governments of the first-world countries would increase their financial aid, forgive debt, and remove unfair trade restrictions toward third world countries, world poverty and hunger could be eliminated. Their US site is here, but there are also many other branches, such as Canada, France, Germany, UK, and others.
If you want to support their cause, you can sign your name to their roster. If you want to wear the bracelet, come see me - I've got several. Note that money donated towards their organization goes toward their organization petitioning the government to meet it's demands, not directly to the poor or hungry. And to their credit, they don't really push for donations. So if you want to be involved, sign their form, and get a white band from me to wear — if you want to give money that will go directly to the poor or hungry, I suggest going here.
