Event-based Aging

By daniel | June 15, 2005

So last night, I talked with several different people, and myself and my wife both agree that aging isn't so much a continual thing, but perhaps it comes more in bursts, or with certain events — like you may not age for 5 years, but then having a baby makes up for that by aging you the equivalent of five years within those first five months    Or perhaps a hard time in your life that lasts 9 or 10 months actually gives you 5 years worth of maturity, not just experientially, but also physically, emotionally, etc.

This is my theory — what do you guys think?  (I'm not saying absolutely definitely JUST this, but I'm just saying what if it kindof works like that?)
