Letter from James in India

By daniel | July 1, 2005

Hello Bro.Al,

I hope you are doing well. This is just an upate on the team's visit. Last week they were visiting both the childcares and spent time with the kids and staff. Sunday they went to the orphanage and spent time with the kids there.

Monday morning we went to Aurangabad by train, got there in the afternoon and had a meeting in Dudhad (Jerusalem Nagar). The team had a great time climbing up the hill opposite the village. Tuesday we went to Wahegaon and Wadji for meetings and had an evening meeting at the hall where we had the Bible study for Steve & Richard. All the meetings were packed and people were blessed by the great skits, testimonies, songs and love that the team shared. Wednesday we went sight-seeing to the fort and taj replica and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying and relaxing at the hotel's health center. We departed at night for Bombay and reached here yesteday morning.

They went shopping during the day and left yesterday night for Thailand. Hailey and Ben were a little sick since two days. Please pray for their health.

We witnessed a miracle in Wahegaon! Pastor Balu's bro-in-law, Arsud who is serving with him in Wahegaon took the team to his house for prayers. His wife couldn't speak and would only make sounds like a frog croaking or like she had hiccups. Tim and Virgil laid hands on her head and were praying over her when the sounds suddenly stopped and she immediately became normal! We got a call from them yesterday saying God healed her and she is very much okay now!!!

Virgil was very kind and made me, dad and Danny stay with them at the hotel in Aurangabad. We thank you for sending the team and blessing us thru them.

It was a very wonderful week with them and we enjoyed the fellowship very much. We did miss you on the team!

The team've got lots and lots of pictures from the visit, so I'll just send you the one about the miracle.

I heard the news about Chan, and we are praying for him. I hope he is okay now and will be out of hospital by the time the team reaches there.

The construction work will be over at Wahegaon soon, because of the rains, I can't say when. The iron girders are up and only the roof is to be put up and the finishing to be given.

Virgil has given me a lot of Duracells and I will go with Adam when he returns to Aurangabad and proceed with the rest of the photos and history forms for WH.

Thanks again,
James
