Mean Mean Green, the Almighty Dollar

I Timothy says that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. My first response to that is, really? Can money really lead to all kinds of evil? So I decided to sit down and type out what kind of error the love of money could lead us into.
- Covetousness, wanting what others have
- Stealing, taking from others what you want
- Dishonesty in order to gain (could be $1 or $1M)
- Murder has definitely resulted from the love of money before
- Adultery/Prostitution
- Not trusting God
- Trusting Yourself (this may be more stupid than evil)
Anything else? Comments welcome!
*I'd like to be clear- I've got nothing against the TV show here. I like the TV show, actually. The song just sparked these thoughts…
