Update from Bill

I received this on Thursday night CST, from Bill, who is in the Phillipines.
Hello.
We had a good trip and arrived here only slightly behind schedule on the 4th at 11-11:15 pm.We are staying in a pretty nice hotel. On the morning of the 5th, were taken to the church and school and given a tour. Once they found out I was single there has been non-stop teasing about me being available and they're always introducing the single ladies to me. Last night Pastor Edwarad Isidora even set me up on a "date" with Charm, one of the Bible College students. That started out pretty interesting, but turned out pretty well. We just ate at a coffe shop ant talked for a couple hours (well, her mostly, coz you know how i am…).Wed night we went ot one of the sattelite churches and several of them gave testimonies and Sharon and I gave a little bit of our own testimonies. They had Sharon sing and then Steve gave a message on prayer using the Lord's Prayer. It was a good time.Thurs morning Steve and Sharon went to visit their friend Sheryl Dyck on Palawan. So i stayed behind. I had breakfast with Pastor Edward and one of the brothers. Then i went back to my room to rest some more, but since i was going to be the guest speaker at the preschool and kindergarten graduation, I decided i'd better figure out what I was gonna say. After working on that I had acouple hours before I was gonna get picked up to go to the mall, but i couldnt sleep so I just read. At about 12:30, one of the brothers took me to MegaMall, the biggest mall in Manilla. We wentto a couple of the shops then ate at Jollibee's. After eating, we went to the school and i got to see a play a few of the students put on. I didnt quite understand what was goin on as they were speking in mostly in Tagalog, but it was pretty funny, nonetheless.That afternoon was the preschool graduation which was very good (except for my part, in my opinion). After the ceremonies they had the kids do some things they learned. Saying Bible verses, singing, etc. Then they gave out abunch of awards to the kids. They even gave me a plaque (sp?) for speaking. After that was all done, i went on that "date" with Charm then went back to the hotle to sleep.Steve and Sharon are due to return today (fri) and im at a mall right now getting ready to meet a friend of mine from PNG in a few minutes. This evening, there's going to be a youth meeting and I'm going to give my testimony there.Tomorrow morning i plan to attend my friend's graduation (who is graduation from another bible school here) then, that afternoon will be going to the Bible College graduation.Well, i need to go now, so i can find the place I'm supposed to be meeting my friend.Hopefully will be able to write again in a couple of days.Thanks for your prayers,Bill
