The Servant of the Lord God, Part I

Last night I was reading Isaiah, and really was drawn into the passages depicting to coming of the Servant of the Lord God (YHWH). I've broken it into parts to be posted over the next few days. This is the How-Daniel-reads-it version, and I'm skipping a lot of verses that are also interesting. If you want the full experience, I've put which chapters we're looking at. Enjoy!
Chapter 42
Look at My Servant! The One I delight in! My Spirit is on Him, and He will give justice to the Gentiles. He won't cry out, or go out of his way to bring attention to Himself. He will not fail or slow down until He establishes absolute justice upon the whole earth. All the earth waits for His rule. He is given by God as a covenant to the people, and will come to give sight to the blind, and set the prisoners free!
