Word from the India/Thailand Team 2006

Once they start sending me pictures, I'll get them up here, but for now, here's a few email excerpts (I, um, abbreviated a few more sensitive search keywords…):
Steven:
Once we got there (Thailand), we went through Customs and came into Bangkok. We were stopped at the checkpoint leaving the airport as they checked the boxes that we had the computers in. Tim told us to offer up a prayer during this time. We did. Apparently someone upstairs like us. I call this someone 'Jesus.' Anyhow, we made it safely into Thailand and from there we rode in a van to the missions guest house, where we are now. The accomodations here are wonderful, for the price, and we received a really cheap ride there, 1000 baht one way to the mission guest house. This is about $30 for a 25 minute van ride from a taxi service, for 10 people. Not bad at all. We stored out luggage there in the airport, and we will retrieve it this morning before getting on the planes. Fortunately, the computers are headed to Ubon, so after this flight, they will be out of our hands.
