Friends and Credit
By daniel | September 25, 2006
Credit and friends are best when not used.
Saw someone actually putting this one up yesterday - it really fits into what we've been talking about lately. Our Sunday morning study on 2 Thess. has moved into a part about church discipline, but it seems the intent of the Word on this subject is how to love with appropriate boundaries. Boundaries help people grow up. I slowly create boundaries with my daughter. She needs to learn to exist without mommy or daddy holding her every second of the day, so we don't (every second of the day). Thats a simple boundary. The example of the text is people who refuse to work and keep asking for money. Simply giving them money enables their foolish behaviour, and enabling is not love, it is crippling. Just a few thoughts from the church sign.
