Christian DNA
By daniel | October 17, 2006
In our meetings on Sunday morning, and our overall corporate study times, we've been looking at 2 Thessalonians, just walking through it, looking at what it says. A real theme we've run across is the terms faith, hope, and love. It really seems like this is what was placed in us when we were brought into Christ. This is GOOD NEWS!
Also something I've thought about as I write this, is that this is not some generic faith, or some random hope, or some misplaced love. This is the very love, hope, and faith that was present in Jesus Christ — that is now the beating heart within a Christian. "DNA tests have proven that this person is indeed a child of the King."
1 Thessalonians 1:3 - Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks to Virgil for the DNA analogy.
